About Ourselves

Little Footsteps features ownership and management consisting of four enthusiastic childcare experts (Donna Nevill, Zoe Smith, Zoe Sandell and Danielle Woods).

Our experienced team has spent years working closely with children and their families. Together, we have a vast amount of experience in private day nurseries, childminding, schools, coaching, one-on-one support, creche work and more. 

Through our experience and expertise, we can develop the right specialist services for your children and work closely with parents/carers to make everyone happy. We foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

    • Staff Structure 

    Most of our staff are qualified to at least Level 3 in childcare with a wide range of experience. Our staffing follows the Ofsted ratio regulation, which includes one senior room leader in each room plus the right number of room assistants. 
    Our adult-to-child ratio is as follows:
    • 4 months – 2 years: 1:3
    • 2-3 Years: 1:4
    • 3-5 Years: 1:8
    • School Age: 1:10
