Fire Service Visit
2024Recently our Dereham nursery enjoyed an exciting visit from a local firefighting team and their fire engine! The children learned about fire safety and the role of firefighters, gaining real-life knowledge through engaging demonstrations. Our children had lots of opportunities to practice their social communication skills as they asked the firefighters questions, took turns, and listened to each other. This visit inspired many of them, sparking dreams of becoming community heroes themselves when they grow up. A big thank you to our local fire department for creating such a memorable and educational experience!
